Can't Find The Motivation To Get In The Gym? Top 8 Things To Do That Will Encourage You.
This week is all about motivation because everyone needs it every now and then. I wont lie to you, getting started in the gym isn't an easy task, that why I put together a list of 8 things that you can do to get the motivation you need ANYTIME you need it:
Make a realistic plan. Most people begin their workout regimen by planning to do things they know they wont do, at least when they're just starting out. For example, if you are used to waking up at 12pm everyday, don't say you'll start waking up at 6am.. we know that's not happening. Instead start at around 9 or 10 and after you've gotten used to that, try to make it earlier.
Start with small goals. It's extremely important to take it easy on yourself, if you want to drop 30lbs altogether, break it up and say you want to lose 10lbs a month... and work hard at it to accomplish that goal.
Learn how to be positive. Many people give up within the first week of starting their workout regimen, this is from a lack of confidence. Learn to think positive and positive only because any negative thoughts are poison to the mind and you will more than likely give up ... Keep it POSITIVE!
Get support! This one is extremely important because support is what keeps you going even when you don't want to. If you have to, contact a trainer that will push you more than you push yourself.
Stay Consistent This one is also extremely important, because without consistency... you will only remain stagnant, and we don't want that ... we want to see CHANGE!
Learn to control yourself Controlling yourself when everyone around you is eating cheeseburgers and fries is something you will have to learn to do if you don't already... seriously.
Recognize your accomplishments Once you begin seeing change, don't put it off as not being a big deal... actually reward yourself ...no I don't mean stuff your face with mozzarella sticks ... have a spa day , or even use your social networks to show everyone what you've accomplished.
Wake up early! Yeah .. I know ... this isn't everyone's favorite BUT its important to make the most of your day and tackle things early on, trust me ..
